Cancellation, Return & Exchange Policy – The Tantva

1. Cancellation Policy

Customer‑initiated cancellations

  • Prepaid and COD orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placement.

  • To cancel, please email support@thetantva.com or call us between 10 am–6 pm (Mon–Sat).

  • Prepaid cancellations can be refunded or converted into a credit note of equivalent value.

Tantva‑initiated cancellations

  • We may cancel orders due to out-of-stock items, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.

  • In such cases, prepaid customers will receive a full refund via their original payment method.

Cancellation charges

  • A minimal 2–3% administrative fee may apply to prepaid order cancellations to cover payment processing costs.

Credit note validity

  • Issued credit notes are valid for 90 days from the date of issue.

2. Exchange Policy (Domestic orders only – within India)

Eligibility criteria

  • Exchanges accepted within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, with original tags & packaging intact.

  • Sale items, handbags, jewelry, and home decor are non-exchangeable unless defective.

Exchange process

    • A flat fee of ₹25 per item applies. Payment screenshot should be emailed to proceed.

  3. Return shipping

    • Choose to ship back yourself (we’ll provide the address), or request a reverse pickup (after fee payment).

  4. Inspection & dispatch

    • Once received and quality‑checked, the replacement will be dispatched within 7–10 working days.

    • Only one exchange per order allowed.

    • If the requested size/color is unavailable, a credit note valid for 90 days will be issued.

3. Return & Refund Policy

  • We do not accept returns or offer refunds once products have been delivered, except in cases of manufacturing defects.

  • If an item is defective, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with timestamped photos or video. We’ll assess and arrange a replacement or credit note as appropriate.

4. “Sale” Items Disclaimer

  • All sale items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable, unless faulty.
